From player to coach.
We're launching a real path for neurodivergent teens and young adults into coaching — training, mentorship, and paid work in the sport they love.
The path
Three stages, each at the trainee's own pace.
Intro to Coaching
An eight-week course — one 90-minute on-court session a week, in a cohort of 4–8, paired with a mandatory online module that teaches the rules, game formats and common on-court situations before each session, so trainees arrive prepared. Finish with the Proset Intro-to-Coaching certificate and an invitation to Stage 2.
ATP Pathway
Assist on court alongside a senior Proset coach, building real coaching hours and skills — with police check and First Aid included. We're working with certification partners so this training counts toward formal credentials as they become available.
Get paid to coach
Graduates work as paid assistant trainers alongside Proset coaches — at our programs and partner clubs. Those who excel can grow into leading groups and teaching Stage 1 to the next cohort.
The role that doesn't exist anywhere else
When autistic players age out of youth programs, the options largely disappear — services end, programs stop, and there's rarely a next step. The ATP is our answer to that gap: a path where young adults stay in the sport they grew up playing, this time on the coaching side of the net, with training and paid work as assistant trainers.
A child who starts with us at eight can still be with us at twenty-eight — as a player, a helper, and one day part of the team running the court.
Know someone ready to coach?
The first Intro to Coaching cohort opens in 2026 — for neurodivergent teens and young adults 15+, Proset players and newcomers alike. No coaching experience needed; we build it together.
