An introductory certification for people becoming Assistant Trainers with Proset Inclusive Sport, a charity running adaptive tennis for children with autism and other special needs. Build EXACTLY 5 units, each ending with a quiz. Unit 1 Welcome and the Assistant Trainer Role: Proset's mission and values, what an assistant trainer is, the ATP coach role, what makes a good lesson, lesson structure. Unit 2 Understanding Special Needs and Inclusive Coaching: inclusive coaching, every participant learns differently, adapting communication and activities, supporting different needs, patience and routine, safe environment, behaviour as communication. Unit 3 Groups, Safety, Equipment and Movement: small groups, safety numbers and supervision, following the lesson plan, equipment, movement and fundamental skills. Unit 4 Drills, Cardinal Rules, Serve and Game Play: lesson plans and drills, the Cardinal Rules, serve and return, scoring and game play. Unit 5 Leadership and Final Assessment: communication, clear instructions, learning styles, review, reflection, assessment and graduation.
